Our client, an internationally known theme park company, is looking for an Assistant Technical Manager to work in their Entertainment Production division. This person will be working on the team responsible for design, development, fabrication, installation, facility interface, operation, maintenance, and documentation in compliance with codes, and jurisdictional requirements for Entertainment projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct management of project initiatives in all, or portions of areas as assigned related to technical show production, and strategy for project execution
  • Work as a direct contact with compliance agencies
  • Assist Technical Manager in preparing clear and concise scope of work documentation for use in contracts
  • Provide technical drafting/design
  • Ensure final product meets established artistic, production and compliance standards
  • Coordinate design documentation from contractors/vendors
  • Monitor qualified vendors, and lead production reviews on-site and at vendor locations.
  • Develop detailed technical schedules, identifying and assembling necessary resources
  • Provide site supervision during installation and facility impact phases

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Theatre, production, or related entertainment field, or equivalent work experience
  • Installation experience in entertainment / theme park environment
  • Working knowledge of stage/entertainment practices, equipment, and technologies
  • Proficient in CAD, Microsoft Office
  • Strong awareness of Environmental Safety standards
  • Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and nights as required.
  • Valid CA driver’s license

Salary: $69-$75k annually
