Our client, a global themed entertainment company, is looking for a Technical Manager well versed in show/ride systems to join its team! In this role, you'll be responsible for managing the successful technical support of specification, design, production, installation and testing for a wide array of show and ride systems, including but not limited to audio, special effects, lighting, set/scenic, ride mechanical systems, ride control, and show control systems. In this role, you'll guide and mentor the Attraction Technical Team as they support day-to-day activities, oversee all technical interaction with outside vendors involved with show/ride systems, and liaise with specialty and general contractors to ensure that all activities successfully deliver a quality product to guests.
You should have:
- a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with a minimum 5-7 years related experience [theme park experience preferred]
- a minimum 1-3 years experience with vendor management, contract law and practices in the theme park industry or construction industries
- a Professional Engineer license from the State of Florida
