HR Operations Manager - Compliance and Employee Relations

One of the entertainment industry’s leading talent agencies has an immediate need for an HR Operations Manager to focus on Compliance and Employee Relations at their headquarters in West Los Angeles. In this role, you will be responsible for managing employment law compliance, employ relations, relocation administration, and implementing HR policies. 


  • Maintain compliance with all state, federal and local regulations
  • Implement company policies and procedures consistent with current employment and labor laws, and enforcing them company wide
  • Develop and implement training programs and procedure manuals; provide communication and guidance throughout implementation for all hiring managers, employees, and HR department
  • Primary contact for all audits (internal and external) pertaining to HR processes 
  • Coordinate with HR leadership team to address employee relations issues, identify trends, and implement solutions
  • Coordinate with external vendors on delivery of relocation administration and background check processes
  • Work closely with HR leadership team to gain insight on how to best serve evolving needs of client groups
  • Monitor changes in legislation and regulatory standards that may impact HR policies and procedures


  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, or related field
  • 10 years of experience handling employee relations and compliance in an HR capacity
  • Expert level understanding of HR compliance and current regulations including federal, state and local labor laws
  • Experience with developing policies and processes, and their implementation company wide 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in order to work effectively with employees at all levels
  • Experience with regulatory audits on employment related issues
  • Experience in the entertainment industry preferred
