The greatest first-round playoff series ever?
Has anybody not been watching the Chicago Bulls-Boston Celtics series? Despite being biased (Bulls fan), I can’t believe how awesome the series has been. And I don’t use the word “awesome” casually. I mean it: awesome. That’s the word that describes it. Three overtimes last night in Game 6, after all the other overtime games there have already been in the series? Are you kidding me?
Writing about the series here is even more appropriate since I’m a Bulls fan and Jeff is a Celtics fan. We’ve had a little friendly banter back and forth. (I had nothing to say after Game 3…when I thought my team was done.) It’s been fun watching what I think is the best first round series ever. Game 7 on Saturday should win some ratings battles for TNT.
Here’s a recap of the series (not including the incredible game last night):
Here’s Joakim Noah, looking like a weird girl, talking about the series.
