KENNY ::: ADMIN ASST FOR FILM/TV
Kenny recently finished up his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. During school, he worked mainly in politics for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute, The Office of Congresswoman Grace Napolitano and also worked as a Wall Street Summit Associate for New America Alliance, Inc. Kenny decided to move out to Los Angeles to pursue a career in entertainment. Since moving here, Kenny has been assisting two managers at Management 101. Here, he coordinates with talent agencies, casting offices and studios to schedule auditions and appointments for clients, covers heavy phones, client submissions, schedules and travel arrangements. He’s motivated, smart and hardworking!
RYAN ::: INTERESTED IN FILM/TV OPPORTUNITIES
Ryan graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a degree in Film Studies. He moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in entertainment and has been keeping busy with some great internships. During school, he interned with Forest Park Pictures, where he learned the administrative side of things. He rolled calls, wrote script coverage, mailed out packages and ran errands as needed. He also worked as a p.a. for Avalon Films, during the shoot of the feature film, Coming Home. Here, he was responsible for assisting the cast and crew, coordinating extras, preparing production schedules, call sheets, and shot lists. Once he graduated and moved to Los Angeles, he found an internship in Development at Fox Entertainment Group. Here, he created writer, director and actor lists, evaluated and commented on T.V. pilots, organized mail, and helped other departments as needed. Recently, he has been interning for writer/producer Mark Hoffmann (The West Wing & Law & Order: SVU). Ryan writes script coverage, rolls calls, handles scheduling and mail and submits notes and feedback for pitches among other things. He is currently looking for an entry-level position within the film or TV industry and is open to any opportunity. He’s very intelligent, knows the names and players in the industry and is very hardworking.
JOEY::: LOOKING FOR OPPORTUNITIES IN PUBLICITY, ADVERTISING AND MARKETING
Joey recently came back from working as a singer in a four member a capella group for Celebrity Cruises. He had the opportunity to travel to over 30 countries in the Caribbean, Europe and South America where he entertained over 2,300 guests per week. Prior to this experience, he worked for Time Inc., The Fortune, Fortune Small Business, Money Magazine & CNNMoney.com as an Advertising Sales Assistant. Here, he supported the LA Sales Director and two Account Managers by helping maintain over 30 accounts. This consisted of him helping with presentations, calculating advertising revenue, managing billing and assisting with digital proposals for CNNMoney.com. He is originally from Michigan, where he graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Journalism with a Specialization in Spanish. He is interested in advertising, marketing and publicity.
ALLIE ::: GREAT ADMIN ASST
Allie recently graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Music Management and Public Relations. During school she was very active, taking on several jobs and internships. She worked part-time for The Hampton Inn, where she learned great customer service skills and was quickly promoted to Sales Coordinator. She also interned for Rock Paper Scissors, Inc., a world music publicity company. Here, she supported the office manager by writing press releases, updating client information in their database, and designed images weekly using Photoshop. She gained great experience and great communication skills. She is now looking for a great opportunity to start her career. She is hardworking, very friendly and motivated!
MELINDA ::: LOOKING FOR GREAT OPPORTUNITIES
Melinda has been working for the past four years at Mattel, Inc. where she was the Marketing and Production Coordinator. Here she was in charge of managing projects in the entertainment marketing and production departments. She supported the VP and several senior executives. Prior to this she was working with Todd-AO Studios as the Operations Manager coordinating daily operations and supporting several executives. Melinda has her BA from UCSD in Visual Arts and Communication. She is currently pursuing her MBA at Pepperdine University. Melinda has excellent communication skills, she is smart, personable, hardworking, and currently looking for great opportunities where she can grow and be part of a team.
MICHELLE ::: RECENT UCLA GRAD
Michelle recently graduated UCLA in September 09 with a major in Economics, minor in Chinese. While in school she has been working for the Office of External Affairs and Entertainment Media and Management Institute helping with administrative duties for events, preparing mailings, maintaining the database, working in Excel, and helping with marketing duties. While in school she also interned in Taiwan for Aegis Media as a Media Planning intern. Here she was able to gain experience in advertising, marketing, branding, and research. Michelle is very smart and motivated. She is currently looking for entry level opportunities that will allow her to gain experience in marketing and pr.
