PHILLIP ::: HR ASSISTANT / CUSTOMER SERVICE

Phillip graduated from UC Irvine with a B.A. In Psychology and Social Behavior. After school he began a paid internship at Resources Global Professionals, a staffing company. He assisted HR Generalists by organizing unemployment records and verifying employment status. After that he worked mostly in retail, handling customer service and cashier duties at Banana Republic, Kitson, and Levi Strauss; most of this work was seasonal, hence the shorter time periods at Kitson and Levi. He’s decided to leave the retail world and is now looking for something full-time in which he can utilize his education and people skills.

MICHAEL ::: ENTERTAINMENT ASSISTANT

Michael is an experienced entertainment assistant, having most recently assisted Ryan Kavanaugh at Relativity Media. He handled an extremely busy desk, including phones, scheduling, travel arrangements, and heavy research about films, talent, and products. He is very comfortable working for multiple executives simultaneously, can keep calm in a fast paced, hectic environment, and is ready to start any time.

KAROLINA ::: TV / EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

Karolina has extensive TV experience, currently temping for NBC Universal, covering various desks for Universal TV and NBC TV Primetime. Lyndsey has extensive Executive/Personal Assistant experience and began her career as a Talent Agent’s Assistant at Writers and Artists International, where she rolled calls, scheduled high-level meetings, and coordinated travel. She assisted the CEO of 944 Magazine, personally assisted actress Raquel Welch, then the remaining three members of The Doors, and most recently the CEO of Live Loyal Public Relations. She’s completely adept with handling a busy desk and can start immediately.

While still in college, Keli worked for a law office, proofreading legal documents, organizing files, and providing general admin support.  She interned at Five-Hour Energy, creating many PowerPoint presentations, and has completed much PA work, including handling phones and confirming travel arrangements. PARIS ::: OFFICE ASSISTANT

Paris is a very professional office assistant with a good deal of data entry experience. While working for the DMV in San Francisco, he input a heavy amount of data into their internal database and then while an Insurance Agent Assistant, he did the same for their clients, handling confidential information and entering all of it accurately in a fast-paced environment. He recently completed two production internships and is very interested in learning more about the financial side of the entertainment industry.

DANA ::: EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT / COORDINATOR

Dana has extensive admin and operations coordinator experience. She has worked at CAA, Disney/ABC, Fox, and most recently at Relativity Media, where she helped to coordinate their intern program including organizing all incoming resumes, as well as handling the interviewing, hiring, and training process of up to fifteen interns at a time. She works well in fast-paced environments, can multi-task well, and is very polished.

Catherine is currently in the CBS Page Program, where she answers phones, handles data entry, and assists the accounting department, among other tasks. KIM ::: EVENT COORDINATOR

Kim has a wide spectrum of experience, spanning from event coordination for MTV International, to high-level executive meetings for First Incentive Travel. She has coordinated attendees for meetings as small as 15 people to as large as 600. She has been freelancing for the last 6 months and is now looking for something more permanent and steady.

DANIEL ::: ENTERTAINMENT ASSISTANT

Daniel was previously an Executive Assistant at Abrams Artists Agency, handling heavy phones, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel. He interned at Valhalla Motion Pictures, covering desks, and is currently an on-set PA for The Voice on NBC, and is happy there, but would ultimately love to work within a studio environment.

Jillian began working at Microsoft directly out of high school, starting as a Receptionist, but quickly moving into the Legal and Corporate Affairs department. This gave her extensive experience with consumer products as she dealt with the launches of many Microsoft product lines like XBOX. After over 4 years, she began working at Sony Pictures in HR and Contract Administration. She was then an Executive Assistant, supporting two VP’s, a Director, and the entire 13-member department. She is very polished, personable, and has great experience with phones, scheduling, and extensive travel arrangement.

LAUREN ::: MARKETING MANAGER

Lauren has her Masters from USC with a concentration in Branding and Marketing. She was most recently a Marketing Manager at The L.A. Office, where she oversaw a marketing team and handled business development and vendor relations. Prior to this she was a Marketing Coordinator at Fox Broadcasting, acting as Project Manager for cross-channel promotions. She is very polished and can begin immediately.

Diana is an energetic, polished events professional, having planned and executed events for anywhere from 30 – 300 people. At FORWARD Event Marketing Corp., she directly assisted the CEO in planning all of his high-level clientele meetings and coordinated with the company’s clients (Verizon, Ubisoft, and THQ). Most recently, she completed an internship at GBK productions (which turned into an Assistant role) working on major events such as the ESPY’s and EMMY’s.

Loriann is a seasoned Billing and Accounting professional. She gained extensive experience at Sony Pictures, processing domestic and international expense reports, processing invoices, and preparing purchase orders, among many other responsibilities. KATIE ::: HR ASSISTANT

Katie Warren was an HR Coordinator at Iowa Pacific Holdings, where she processed employee paperwork, payroll, personnel files, and liaised between upper management and all employees. It was here that she realized her passion for HR. Prior to this she was a Customer Service Rep at Toys ‘R Us, answering calls in and in-person questions and assisting fellow employees. This experience, combined with IPH, developed her interpersonal and admin skills, and she is now very comfortable dealing with all kinds of personalities and staying calm in hectic environments. She is friendly, down to earth, and very interested in continuing with a career in HR.

Chanel is an experienced admin assistant with a solid background in HR responsibilities. She only graduated in 2011, but already has accumulated 4 years of experience, working throughout school. She started as an HR/Admin Assistant at the California State Department of Justice in Sacramento, updating employee personnel files, assisting in interviews, answering phones, and ordering supplies. At CalPERS, she completed heavy data entry, handled multiple phones lines and scheduled many meetings via Outlook. After graduating college, Wendee began her career at Universal Music Group as a Marketing Project Coordinator. While in this role, she helped manage the deadlines of social media campaigns for multiple A-list clients (such as Common and Kanye West) and affiliated clientele. She worked closely with managers in Sales and Marketing on projects and promotions and supervised program interns. Lucy is a recent USC grad with a passion for writing and copy editing that started at the Daily Trojan, USC’s official newspaper that has a print circulation of 10,000 and online impressions of up to 12,000 per day. She began there as an Editorial Director and eventually became their Managing Editor, overseeing content, photos, articles, and other editors. She currently does ongoing freelance work for Metromix, LLC, writing and editing articles and multimedia features on arts and entertainment. She has advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite 5, Wordpress, social media, and is also bilingual in Spanish.

ERIN ::: ADMIN / RESEARCH ASSISTANT

Erin is a UC Berkeley graduate with excellent admin skills. She has a solid amount of experience as a Research Assistant, completing vast data entry and coding. She also interned at Glam Media, covering phones, managing calendars, and processing expense reports. Since she will be starting grad school soon, she’s only looking for something part-time so she can still attend her classes. She is super polished, friendly, and organized.

Hannah Boyle is a grad from the University of Colorado that recently moved to LA to pursue a career in entertainment. She was previously a production assistant at Phils Films in Santa Monica, creating pre-production books, coordinating talent, making crew calls, and working with assistant directors.  During school, she interned at MML Public Relations in Venice, writing press releases, organizing promotional events like photo shoots, greeting clients, and helping to manage talent needs. She is very outgoing and a fast-learner.

PAIGE ::: COPY EDITOR / PROOFREADER

Paige has a great amount of experience as a copy editor, proofreader, and writer. She received her Masters from the University of Oregon in Creative Writing and soon after began working as an Interactive Producer at msnbc.com. She transitioned this role into that website’s Movies and Music Editor, where she spent about 6 years and during that time helped to double the site traffic of their entertainment sections. She then began contract assignments, including Amazon.com, where she researched their products and wrote consumer-facing copy. As she has been working on contract and shorter-term assignments recently, she’s now really looking for a more permanent position.

ILYA ::: COPY EDITOR / WRITER

Ilya is an experienced copy editor and content writer. He received his B.S. In Journalism from Boston University and soon began writing for the New York Press, contributing weekly articles, email blasts, research, fact-checking, and proofreading articles and listings. Since moving to L.A., he has been a Content Manager for Nielsen Business Media, a Web Content Editor for Four Seasons General Merchandise, and a Deputy Editor at AOL Music. He is proficient in all Microsoft software, HTML, WordPress, QuarkXpress and more.

NYKOLE ::: ADMININISTRATIVE / RESEARCH ASSISTANT

Nykole has excellent Admin and Market Research experience and passion for the Entertainment industry. She completed a contract position at BET Networks in Washington, DC as a Market Research Assistant, compiling daily Excel reports using the Nielsen Ratings system and developed tracking documents for later reference. She’s currently working part-time at Clear Channel Media, but looking for something more steady and permanent.

LaVonne is a seasoned Accounting professional with a vast amount of finance experience and a background in the Entertainment industry. She was most recently the CFO of Mason Building Company in Las Vegas, the construction group that rebuilt the Flamingo Resort and Casino. There, she oversaw all aspects of accounting and financial planning for the $180 million company, generated annual budgets and analyzed monthly variances, and helped prepare corporate tax returns and financial statements. On the Entertainment side, she has previously completed various Accounting assignments (Staff Accountant, Accounting Analyst, etc.) for companies such as Paramount, Warner Bros., and Trimark Pictures. She has strong leadership qualities and great experience in the field.

KIMBERLY ::: PRODUCTION COORDINATOR

Kimberly has a solid background in Post Production and asset coordination. She has been a Production Coordinator at Klasky Csupo, BLT & Associates, Trailer Park, and most recently a short contract role at Wild Card. She is very familiar managing various types of digital files, materials, encoding, and keeping projects on schedule. She’s very friendly, motivated, and comfortable coordinating between vendors, clients, and all levels of management.
